Villa Terrace Milwaukee Wedding

Amber and Nathan planned an incredible moody, dreamy, elegant wedding in Milwaukee at the Villa Terrace! This stunning Italian venue is located across the street from the shores of Lake Michigan. It almost looks like one stepped into the streets of Italy when venturing into this dreamy space!

The History of The Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum

Once upon a time, a girl fell for a boy, they got married and took a family trip to Italy. Once returning, the wife, Agnes wanted to build a special house that reflected her love for architecture and design. In 1923, the house was complete and filled with lots of children and love! This villa was the perfect backdrop for Amber and Nathan’s fall wedding ceremony. With the backdrop of the Renaissance Gardens, which was restored in 2022 by tons of volunteers, the couple said their vows and exchanged rings. A family/friend officiant expressed some funny stories about the couple before pronouncing them husband and wife! The bridal party, dressed in black tuxes and velvet dresses, also had the opportunity for stunning pictures at the villa.

Dark and Moody Tones For the Reception

After the perfect ceremony, the party transitioned to Jan Serr Studio in downtown Milwaukee. Amber, a wedding coordinator herself, envisioned moody tones, black linens, and the perfect city skyline backdrop. The couple also chose to have a great band to set the tone of the night!
