Ashley and Noah met on the dating app Hinge almost 5 years ago! After an amazing 6 hour date on a random Wednesday night, closing down not one, but two places, the rest was history. Ashley and Noah celebrated a beautiful wedding at the Carriage House at Lac La Belle. From the venue, to the florals, and every little detail in between, this wedding in Oconomowoc had it all.

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Motts

“You seem like you would be a joy to be around, let’s grab coffee sometime,” were Noah’s first words to Ashley after meeting on Hinge almost 5 years ago. After about two weeks of in-depth conversations on the app, they decided to meet up for their first date where Ashley was 10 minutes late because she couldn’t find parking. Ultimately, the two talked for a few hours at the coffee shop where they shut it down, only to move onto a wine bar across the street where they talked for a few more hours and also shut that place down. After a 6 hours of getting to know one another on a first date, the rest is history!

A Stunning Carriage House Wedding

The two envisioned a day filled with plenty of emotion! I think it is safe to say that lots of happy tears, excitement, joy, and laughter happened throughout the couple’s special day. The wedding was held at the gorgeous Carriage House in Lac La Belle.

The Carriage House is a boldly modern design that brings simplistic beauty to any event. Located on a golf course in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, the venue has two different building options for rent! The 1896 room, a classic ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, offers modern gray walls, rustic hardwood flooring, and rich wood accents around the room. The 1896 room is where Ashley and Noah hosted their cocktail party as well has got ready in.

The Carriage House features stunning chandeliers, a custom bar, high ceilings, and tons of natural light. Ashley and Noah envisioned a gorgeous and elegant wedding with specific attention to colorful florals. Both the bouquets and center pieces were show stoppers! For this fall wedding, cabernet was incorporated into every detail including the bridesmaids dresses, while the groom and groomsmen wore black tuxes with white shirts and black bow ties. An added bonus to Oconomowoc is that it’s just 37 minutes outside of the great city of Milwaukee! Hosting your wedding at the Carriage House in La La Belle is a great for the stunning design and will be perfect for out of town guests to enjoy the city of Oconomowoc. I highly recommend coordinating with the hotels above to see if they offer a shuttle service for your guests! It’s always a great idea to provide a safe method of transportation after a long night of celebrating!
