“I know we are old, but we can still bend that way” -Jolene’s exact words when she reached out to me to ask if I’d capture an in home couple’s session for her and her husband of 34 years!!

Now, I know some of you are thinking…what in the heck is an “in home couple’s session”?! Well, exactly what it sounds like. I, the photographer, come to your house and capture your relationship just as it is! When the door is closed and no one else is around, what exactly your relationship looks like! Maybe it’s eating pizza on the couch, cuddling in bed, sipping coffee in the kitchen – truly anything is possible with an in home session.

I personally, LOVE the idea and am so glad in home couple’s sessions are becoming “a thing.” Wylie and I actually did an in home session for part of our engagement pictures – check it out here! Why spend days finding the perfect location to capture your love story, when 95% of your time is spent in home anyways! And as a photographer, it’s a bonus because you are already more comfortable in front of the camera because your in the comfort of your own living room!

And, I’d just like to say, young love, middle aged love, old love is ALL freaking incredible. You SHOULD want to capture those feelings in ALL stages of your relationship because true love never gets old. So book that session, grab that ass, dance like no one’s watching and “get it on” in your kitchen, because you flippin’ CAN.
