Hiking to a hidden beach for a first look on the morning of your wedding?? HECK YES!! Bri & Cole did just that and WOW was it incredibly epic! The two lovebirds said ‘I Do’ at a lighthouse in Marquette, Michigan on a perfect August day! The two knew of each other in high school and attended prom in the same group, but never spoke. A little while later Bri and Cole went on one date! Eventually, they ran into each other on the dance floor during Christmas break and have been together ever since!
Cole was a charter fishing captain in Alaska for a summer job one year and has lots of fishing/boating experience in Michigan. Lake Superior holds a special place in the couples’ hearts as plenty of morning dates have been spent on the boat enjoying one anothers’ company, the sunrise, and a good cup of coffee. Bri and Cole love the outdoors and value spending time together on the water which is so special that they shared their wedding ceremony overlooking the water, a memory they sure will never forget.
One thing I love about destination weddings is how intimate they are. This wedding in particular was perfect in that the bride and groom legitimately hiked to their first look spot and got dressed on a hidden beach! You can almost feel the love through the screen watching this film! The two are clearly just happy and in love! From the emotional letters to one another, to the sweet speeches, and the dance party they wanted, this wedding was so fun! The drone footage in this video is seriously to die for, absolutely breathtaking. This film will leave you in tears and in awe of the locations the newlyweds adventured to! I’m so honored to have captured this epic destination wedding, enjoy it below!
