Dallas, Texas

Once Upon a Time… I dreamed of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. For Halloween one year, I got the outfit and dressed up as a DCC, hoping my dreams would come true. The funny thing is, I’ve never cheered in my life, mostly due to my school never offering that kind of sport. However, I consistently had it in my mind that I was going to move to Texas, try out for the team, and make the squad. Needless to say, I never followed through with my plan. Although, because my mom knew of my fantasy dream, she planned a trip for my sister and I. The deal was, if the Cowboys ever got to play the Packers (because I am from Wisconsin), we would go to Dallas to watch the game. Lucky for me, the year after my mom and I made this deal, the Packers were headed to Texas, and so were we. Not only did we get to watch the incredible game at AT&T stadium, but that weekend they also had a special to get a tour of the stadium, meet cheerleaders, and participate in activities on the field. Literally, a dream come true. We got back stage tickets into both the player’s locker room, and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader’s locker room- which by the way the girl’s one was way better. We also got to go onto the field to take pictures, see the Super Bowl trophies, and play some fun games they had going on to win prizes. Take a look at come of the collages I put together to sum up all the fun we had.

Even though the Cowboys ended up a little short, the experience was truly a once in a lifetime, unless of course I happen to go back:)
